The Address verification Service (AVS) is a system used to verify the identity of the person claiming to own the credit card. The system will check the billing address of the credit card provided by the user with the address on file at the credit card company.

Card Verification Value (CVV)

Card Verification Value (CVV) , also known as Card verification Code (CVC) and Card Security Code (CSC), is often used by merchants to verify the identity of the card holder for Card not present transactions (MOTO or over the Internet)

Verified by Visa (VBV) and Master Card Secure code
